It was within the year 1997, that Dr. S.C. Vats, founding father of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), Swami Jitatmananda Ji  an eminent educationalist, management skilled, author of books on trendy Physics & Hindooism and Indian attribute in Management, an energetic caseworker and also the editor of Prabudh Republic of India (Awakened India), a journal started by swami Vivekananda.

The brain kid of that was a society for Total Revival of Nation, so known as the Society for Total Revival and National Glory and True Heritage (STRENGTH), that was later registered as a charitable society beneath the Registration of Societies Act, in 1998 with a mission of constructing VIPS a perfect establishment with the clear objective of “Man creating, Character Building, Nation Building” as envisaged by swami Vivekananda.

 

 

Vivekananda Institute of skilled Studies is committed to realizing the words of Hindu Vivekananda Ji: “Man creating, Character Building and Nation Building”. VIPS is related to to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, recognized by Bar Council of Bharat and UGC beneath section 2(f), with NAAC ‘A’ enfranchisement. Dr. S.C. Vats, Chairman, VIPS, an excellent altruist and educationalist believes in perfection. Thus, the shibboleth of VIPS is “In Pursuit of Perfection”.

 

With the endeavor of conveyance quality and up to date education within the field of social science, Vivekananda faculty of social science was incepted in 2017. Since its beginning, the college has been operating to coach our young minds to be the thoughtful, dynamic and conscious economists of the longer term. VSE presently offers a three-year degree course in B.A.(Hons) social science that aims to instill human, technical and abstract skills in students. Information of elementary social science still because the core useful areas of social science like small social science, Macro social science, International Trade, Public social science, and Growth and Development etc, is imparted through its comprehensive course structure.

The BA Honors program in Economics  is intended to produce students rigorous undergrad coaching in economic analysis. The aim is to reveal students to multiple views among the discipline-the social, historical, and political dimensions of social science and to acquaint them with knowledge handling and knowledge analysis.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates with an aggregate* of 50% marks in 10+2 level examination compulsory study at 10+2 level from a recognized State and Central Government Board with Mathematics and English compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

 

ADMISSION PROCESS

  • The candidates must apply through CUET for the admission to any of the courses offered by VIPS
  • The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
  • The candidates who qualify CUET  are only eligible for the admission in the college.

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
