ABOUT THE COURSE
Integrated Course of 5 Years. To provide excellent educational services to all individuals without prejudice, with the aim of expanding an individual's intelligence and informing law students of their roles as social engineers, as well as equipping law graduates to be effective in their fields and thereby contributing to the advancement of justice and dignity. The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi has given the School affiliation to run a 5-year Integrated BA (LLB) programme, which has been authorised by the Bar Council of India.By developing the course structure and instructional techniques to achieve these goals, the curriculum hopes to facilitate multidisciplinary study of socio-legal issues. Lecture discussions, case law review, moot court preparation, project assignments, and placement programmes are some of the ways the Law School teaches.
Rather than looking for 'wisdom' or the'sovereign,' law is a journey away from faith and toward participatory process. Law and legal studies are concerned with the development of expertise that can be useful in the field. The study of law as a discipline of education is transformed into the study of philosophy. Creating several institutions to integrate 'undergraduate' liberal education with 'graduate level' legal education in a five-year span. We grab the neophyte who wants to join the discipline and give them more time to properly inspire and train them for the legal profession and design on a graduate level in accordance with the need for technical skills.
Practical experience, such as court attendance, hands-on training at legal aid centres, and academic programmes, are typically included in the BA-LLB curriculum. It is required to complete a year of internship in order to practise. This should be accomplished throughout the final year. There are also different types of legal specialisations, such as constitutional law, criminal law, business law, and income tax law, to name a few.
AN EXTENSIVE EDUCATION PLAN
P.G. programmes in law (LLM) last one year and require an LLB degree to be qualified. Civil law, criminal law, business law, income tax law, economic law, labour law, constitutional law, and patent law are some of the specialisations in law.
