MBS School of Planning and Architecture has roomy studios that give an invigorating learning climate to the students where they can investigate and try different things with their plan ideas. These studios are furnished with drafting sheets, a mounted projector, and show barricades to put student work. Every student is given devoted work and extra room. 

The Library has an enormous assortment of books regarding all matters in the educational program like Architecture Design, History of Architecture, Building Construction &Materials, Landscape Design, Urban Design, Building Services, Town Planning, Professional Practice, and Interior Design. MBS SPA has bought in great quantities of public and worldwide diaries, magazines, and papers and has joined with various advanced libraries. The library is sufficiently bright with an arranged guest plan and houses 5000 or more books alongside a committed reference area.

Carpentry and Model Making Workshop

The establishment has an in-house workshop with important machines and apparatuses. The students are acquainted with workshop practice. They learn structural model making and are urged to utilize the workshop office for their plan models.

Surveying and Levelling Laboratory

Climatology Laboratory

B. Arch- 5 Year Degree Programme

According to the GGSIPU schedule, the expansive target of the program is to give both hypothetical information and useful abilities to students to set them up for an expert profession in the field of design. According to GGSIPU the length of the B. Arch. program is 10 semesters for example 5 years. The Academic semester will be given about four months of guidance/Teaching (counting class test) work. The Academic Calendar will be informed by the University every year, before the beginning of the scholarly year. The greatest period needed for the culmination of the program will be n+2 I. e. 7 years. A student will need to procure every one of the credits determined in the Scheme of Teaching and Examination and schedules. 

Endless supply of the consequences of the semesters of a scholarly year, a student coming up short in any course or courses accumulating more than 5-course credits will not be qualified for advancement to the ensuing scholastic year. Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have earned a minimum of 50% in aggregate at the 10+2 level or similar test, with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

or a 10+3year certificate with a 50 percent composite mark approved by the Federal / State Governments.

or an International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) after ten years of education, with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and Mathematics as a required subject.

All applicants for entry to the B. Arch. Program who have all of the above credentials must have a clear NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score of 50%. For entry to the B.Arch. programme, there would be no entrance exam. NATA Scores and the proportion of marks earned in the qualifying test, i.e., Senior Secondary level or equivalent, will be used to determine admission.

The merit list will be compiled using the following criteria:

50 percent I Architectural Aptitude (NATA Score)

(ii) Qualifying Examination: 50% (10+2 or 10+3)

 

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION:

The application forms should be submitted to GGSIP University in their entirety. Documents (one set) are available at the time of application submission. NATA Score Card a. (Attested Photocopy)

b. 10+2-mark sheet and qualifying test certificate (Photocopy of Attestation)

The forms would be disqualified if they do not have the above two papers.

COLLEGE RATING

MBS SPA Training and Placement Cell appeared in the year 2015. After the registration , all india rank is given to all candidates based on NATA score. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute .
