KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education is a private college in Greater Noida established by the KCC group. The college is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and was established in the year 1998. It is in affiliation to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which is approved by AICTE and Accredited Grade ‘A’ by NAAC. This institute offers undergraduate course of 3 years in Business Administration, Journalism and Mass Education, Computer Application and Commerce.

The campus is spread across 40 acres of land with all the basic amenities and also offers an education loan facility to the students.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The Bachelor’s in Commerce BCom. (H) is 3 years (6 semesters) undergraduate honours programme which is designed to bring out the directorial, executive and managerial skills of students by meeting the unparalleled demands of distinguished individuals in the areas of finance and business.

During the course the subjects covered by the students are in the fields of Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Investment and Taxation etc.

STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE

The BCom. (H) course is divided into 3 years and further divided into 6 semesters. An academic calendar consists of 2 semesters (August-December & January-May) and each paper consists of five theory and one/two practical subjects of 100 marks.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate eligible for admission to the 3-year BCom. (H) undergraduate degree course must have
50% in aggregate in 10+2 examination / Senior School Certificate Examination of C.B.S.E. as minimum marks for admission to B.Com with pass in five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent to that. (i) Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian school / college. OR
Intermediate Examination of an Indian University / Board or an Examination recognized as equivalent to that (Pass in five written subjects) (ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Pass in five written subjects). (iii) Examination of a foreign University / Board which is recognized as equivalent to 10+2 CBSE examination/or Indian University.
The candidates must have qualified CUET

ADMISSION PROCESS

The candidates must apply through CUET for the admission to any of the courses offered by KCCILHE (KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education) College.
The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
The candidates who qualify CUET are only eligible for the admission in the college.

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
