The degree of Bachelors of education is a two-year program. Within the duration of two years, it will provide teaching aptitude to the students. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• A candidate eligible for admission to the B.Ed. course must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) and Undergraduate Level in any stream (Arts, Science or Commerce).
• The aggregate of 50-55% marks must be taken as an eligibility criterion at Undergraduate Level to admission in B.Ed. course.

ADMISSION PROCESS

• The candidates must apply through GGSIPU CET for the admission to B.Ed. course
• The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
• The candidates who qualify CET (Common Entrance Test) are only eligible for the admission in the college.

THE RECRUITERS

 In the last six years, the Placement cell has successfully provided career guidance to over 3000 students, and more than 150 companies have visited the college and recruited more than 15000 students from the Delhi Institute of Rural Development.

After the IPU CET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off is different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidates vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by the institute . The appearance in IPU CET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
