The Bachelors of Education (B.Ed.) is 2 years (4 semesters) undergraduate programme which is the most preferred course among the students who are interested in taking teaching as a profession.

The B.Ed. course is divided into 2 years and further divided into 4 semesters. An academic calendar consists of 2 semesters of Theory course as well as Practical course and total credits for B.Ed. programme is 92, out of which 88 credits are required for qualifying the exams.

After the IPU CET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off is different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidates vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by the institute . The appearance in IPU CET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
