GGSIPU is very famous university in Delhi, after 12th almost every student has GGSIPU in their respective list irrespective of the course, GGSIPU is 23 years old university as in the year 1998 it got established. Almost every course is covered by this university like Ph.d, bachelors, masters, diploma in various backgrounds. If any candidate is interested for the admission in IP university then each information can be availed through the official website of the GGSIPU. But one thing should be taken care of that there is specific time period to apply for the courses in GGSIPU, like application form for the bachelors and masters starts in January etc.

For the admission in B.Tech and B.Pharma university considers score of JEE Main through online counseling
For BHMCT admission NCHMCT JEE score is considered.
For the B.Arch , student must be NATA qualified. Then final decision would be taken according to the required weightage.
For medical admission student must be NEET qualified.
For BA-LL.B and BBA-LL.B, CLAT is considered, which means without CLAT no admission in BA-LLB and BBA-LL.B.
If student wants admission in BA, B.COM, BCA, B.VOC, BJMC then student must go through the IPU CET and must secure good score to get admission in best possible college.
For M.tech score of GATE is considered.
For MBA or MCA , university considers score of CAT or NIMCET.
Mode of IPUCET is online from 2022.
For PG medical score of NEET PG is considered by the university.
For PGAC (Ayurveda), Ayush considers good score in AIA-PGET.
If any candidate wants admission in Ph.D programs then CSIR NET/ UGC NET or JRF is considered, but this is not final that clearing this is only main criteria, student has to go through the interview for final selection.
Some seats are reserved for Kashmiri Migrants, management quota, person with disability and besides this GATE scholarship is also provided.

Candidate has various options such as B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharma and BHMCT each of these courses has their respective eligibility criteria which could depend upon the category of the respective candidate but the eligibility criteria which would be common to all the candidates would be 10+2 from the respective recognized board (for the respective eligibility criteria please refer the official website of the university)

To B.tech candidates university has two options i.e Dual Degree and Lateral Mode, so it is the candidate choice which one to choose. It is very well known that to get admission in top colleges of B.Tech, score of JEE Mains is must, same applies by ip university. NATA is must for the B.Arch course which means without no NATA no candidate is able to get admission in B.Arch course.

IMPORTANT KEY POINTS:

Some candidates pursue Diploma in architecture, so they are not allowed to take admission in B.Tech (L.E)
B.Tech and B.Arch programs offer reservation of 85% to the candidates who belongs to NCT of Delhi.
Rest 15% reservation is for the outside Delhi candidates.
Self financing colleges offers 10% seats under management quota.

Counselling of IPU

Ipu conducts its respective exam for the admission purpose, so what it does it prepares the list of the candidates according to their respective scores and after the conclusion of everything, finally admission is done by the university.

Mode of counselling will depend upon the choice of course. Let’s say online counseling will be done for the BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, LL.B, B.Ed.

MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BPT, B.Sc (Nursing) & B.Sc (MLT) Admission criteria

For medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BPT etc. NEET is required, which means candidate has to score atleast minimum marks, to be eligible for the admission process in ipu. To be eligible for NEET student must have PCB in 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks.

If any women wants admission in B.SC (Nursing) then she should be unmarried.

M.Tech, MBA & MCA courses details

If any candidate is interested for the M.Tech degree then GATE is must, and sometimes university also gives option to the students to sit in CET exam for the admission in M.Tech programe because of the vacant seats only, but the one thing which should be highlighted here is that for the branch CSE and ECE, student must give GATE, in that case no CET would be there and also for biotechnology (M.Tech) Gate is must. Admission in MBA and MCA programs is possible only through CET.

The main point which is very common is that without B.Tech no M.Tech is possible and also student must score atleast 55% of aggregate and it is obvious student must have done graduation for MBA and MCA (Maths is required).

For the working professionals, university offers MBA and MCA on weekends and in lateral mode also.
