NDIM INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO MOTHER DAIRY 
Real exposure should be provided to pupils for effective learning, bearing this viewpoint in mind. Numerous industrial trips are organized by the New Delhi Institute of Management. On the 13th and 18th, of April 2022 an Industrial Visit was made to Mother Dairy Patparganj, Delhi. The students were educated about:

working & operations of the industry
decorum of management
The students were accompanied by the faculty members. Mother Dairy is a fully owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board, was established in 1974. It was a project under Operation Flood, the largest dairy development program ever launched with the goal of making India a milk-self-sufficient country. The business provides a location and forms service for urban areas by collecting milk from farmers in rural areas.

The Mother Dairy staff members were really accommodating and welcomed the pupils.

During the entire visit, Mr. Pillai, a company executive, guided the pupils.

The visit started with a presentation that gave an incisive overview of Mother Dairy's vision and objective to "deliver quality food and beverages to consumers at accessible rates while assuring fair returns to the producers" and a brief history of the company. Mr. Pillai then educated the pupils about the various stages of milk procession. 

1. Cleanisation

2. Homogenisation

3. Standardization

4. Pasteurization via PPTs.

Students were also made aware of the nutritional qualities of milk, and the different types of fat contents milk have. Students also observed various milk tankers and silos, and the process that goes behind the storage of large quantities of liquid. 

The company also manufactures paneer, ghee, buttermilk, lassi, and cream, among other milk-based goods. Milk has a slim profit margin of roughly 80%, which the corporation invests back into the farmers.

Throughout the entire visit, students were interested and excited to learn and observe. They were able to pick up marketing and supply chain management skills quickly. The student's academic and professional development was greatly enhanced by the trip to such a renowned plant. The delivery of refreshments marked the end of the visit, and the students thanked the business administration.
