After registration, candidates can access the choice-filling portal to select preferred colleges and courses. You can list multiple options in order of priority. Once finalized, ensure to lock your choices — only locked preferences are considered for seat allotment.
In the first round, seats are allotted based on the candidate’s rank, category, and preferences. Those who receive a seat must freeze, float, or withdraw:
Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and exit further rounds.
Float: Keep the current seat but stay eligible for upgrades in the next round.
Withdraw: Opt out of the counseling process.
Candidates who selected “float” are automatically considered in Round 2 for better seat options. Vacant or unclaimed seats from Round 1 are re-allocated. Students allotted a new seat must confirm their choice by paying the admission fee and downloading the provisional allotment letter.
The final regular round allows students to participate again for upgradation or to claim remaining seats. Some colleges may open sliding options, where candidates can move to a higher-preference course in the same institution if available.
If seats still remain vacant, the university conducts spot counseling rounds (offline or online). These are open to both registered and new candidates. Admission is offered on a first-come, first-served basis after document verification and fee payment.
Once the final seat is allotted, candidates must visit the respective college for physical verification of original documents, such as:
