Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute Of Information Technology, with its affiliating University Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, offered Masters of computer application as a two-year degree course. The Masters of Computer Application two-degree program is a course related to technology. The rules and regulations for the teaching of the course are drawn and framed by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)... Likewise, for the Masters of Computer Application, the Ministry of HRD frames norms and regulations with the Government of India. These norms and regulations are mostly strictly followed at the Institute. Discipline for Maters of Computer Application degree programs program is sectioned into two years, that is, six semesters. But due to the changes in the curriculum of the university as per the new guidelines as per 2019, the course will give four semesters in MCA from 2020 onwards. In Masters of Computer Application, each semester consists u tee of five theory subjects and three optional practical subjects. Masters of Computer Application programme Eligibility

Duration: two years

Eligibility:

Must have passed the prior examination at Bachelor of computer application.

Must have passed and Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.

Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelors degree with mathematics is also accepted.

At least 50% marks must have obtained in graduation

5% less than 50% marks are required in the case of the reserved categories

Examination and Evaluation

The rules drawn by GGSIPU Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for examination and evaluation procedures are followed strictly. All norms and standard for examination are laid down by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Each paper carries equal weightage, and every paper is of hundred marks. Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute Of Information Technology provides students to submit written tests, assignments and presentations as their internal evaluation examination. The theory examination is 75 marks, and the practical is 25 marks. Internal evaluation is conducted in college.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate eligible for admission to the 3-year MCA postgraduate degree course must have completed graduation in B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/BIT/B.Voc. in Computer Science /Computer Applications of minimum three years from a recognized University with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects.

The candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech from a recognized University.

ADMISSION PROCESS

The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
The candidates who qualify NIMCET are only eligible for the admission in the college.

All admissions shall be on the basis of Merit of NIMCET 2021. If Seats remain vacant after counselling on the basis of merit of NIMCET 2021, the University will consider admission in MCA/ MCA (SE) programmes on the basis of merit of Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted by GGSIP University.

COLLEGE RATING

After the registration , all india rank is given to all candidates based on NIMCET score. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in IPU CET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
