GGSIPU: offline round of Counseling

The GGSIPU has declared their offline round of counseling, specially conducting to fill the remaining vacant seats in the affiliated colleges and institutions, for various courses. This article is to provide details on the offline counseling round, its eligibility, schedule and so on.

The offline counseling round will fill all the remaining seats which are not filled yet, in various colleges and institutions under the University. The selection will be based on the candidates’ qualification in CET or National Level Test (entrance test). The course for which offline counseling is scheduled includes:

Eligibility for offline counseling

Eligible candidates

Admitted students in any course, based on their CET / National Level Test qualification
Allotted candidates from second round online counseling (named in the allotted list)

Ineligible candidates

Students who are recognized as admitted candidates, according to the criteria declared in admission brochure
Allotted candidates in second round counseling according to their first preference itself.
Students who opted for seats in management quota, in any college/ institution under the university.

Other important details for students

Consent from the candidate for participation is important in this offline round of counseling.
Refer admission brochure for meaning of admitted candidate.
Candidates should register their names, along with paying 2000/- rupees as participation fee (it is non refundable)
Admission, based on choice is not guaranteed, just with the participation in offline round of counseling
Allotment will be based on merit, along with the university cutoff criteria.
There will be no chance for candidates, who were debarred by the university guidelines, to participate in the process.
Candidates, who have not participated in previous counseling rounds, should pay a total of 4200/- rupees, to participate in offline counseling (application fee – 1200/- , counseling participation fee – 1000/- , offline counseling participation fee – 2000/-)
