Indraprastha University calls for SPOT Round of Online Counselling

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi has declared to start their SPOT counseling from 26-11-2021. The university now gives information that the students, to whom the seats are allotted through the counseling must report in the respective institutions, within the time itself.  The courses to which the seats allotted are:

1. BA (JMC)- 126
2. BCA – 114
3. BCOM (H) – 146
4. BBA – 125
5. B.Ed. – 122
6. BHMCT – 127
7. LE BTECH (Diploma) – 128
8. MBA (IT) – 116

 

The remaining seats will be filled through counseling itself, in the upcoming days itself. Admission will be cancelled, if the candidates fail to report before the due time mentioned after the spot counseling.

 

The spot counseling is a fresh one, for which all the candidates are required to fill a fresh registration form. In this they should freshly mark their preferences again, to get admission. Candidates, who reported in the concerned institution, as a part of seat allotted in the earlier counseling, can also participate in the SPOT round, without losing the previous seats. But, they should apply only for new preferences. Their previous seat will be retained, if they did not get chances for new seat in the round. 

 

Eligibility for SPOT counseling:

 

A candidate must complete all the necessary proceedings, in order to be able to participate in the SPOT counseling. He/she should also get allotted for a seat and reported in the concerned institution, through the online counseling that held before.  Also, he/she should have paid the Part academic fee of 40000 rupees.

 

Ineligible candidates include:

1. Candidate who got allotment, paid the fees of 40000/-, but not reported on the respective college on time

2. Candidate who got allotted, paid the fees, and withdrawn from the procedure eventually.
3. Candidate who was allotted, but not paid the fees within the time limit. 
4. Person who was not allotted in all rounds of counseling.
5. Person who did not fill the choices, once after paying fees for application and for participating in counseling.
6. Students who chose options like freeze or float.

Tentative schedule for SPOT counseling

 

1. Registration: 

1. Students who have paid participation fee for counseling of rs. 1000/- and entered in the GGSIPU Common Merit Rank List 2021

Starting from: 26-11-2021 (02.00 pm)

Closing time: 29-11-2021 (11.50 pm)

1. Students who have not paid the fee and has entered in the rank list

Starting from: 26-11-2021 (02.00pm)

Closing time: 29-11-2021 (11.50 pm)

Both the category students should create new registration, and pay 500/- for SPOT round. The students, who have not paid participation fees, should also pay that along with this. 

 

1. Filling of choices

After registering successfully by paying the fee, the candidates should fill their preferences accordingly.

Starting from: 30-11-2021 (11.00 am)

Closing time: 01-12-2021 (11.50 pm)

 

Results of SPOT round will be declared on 02-12-2021 

 

Procedures followed by the SPOT Counseling include:

 

1. Submission of consent letter of the students, who are selected in the SPOT round
2. Fees payment – of Rs. 40000/-
3. Taking printout of call letter for admission
4. Part admission fee, paid earlier in allotted college can be withdrawn after taking admission in new college.
5. Reporting at the admitted campus.

 

All these procedures can be started from 07/12/2021. Every college/ university will be on leave in Saturday and Sunday.   So the students can complete reporting procedure on – 07/12/2021, 08/12/2021, 11/12/2021, and 12/12/2021 (from 10.00 am to 05.00 pm only)

 

•  Students who have paid the Part admission fee I the previous rounds of counseling there is no need for re-payment. (no matter if the candidate was reported, not reported or even withdrawn from the procedure)

 

Important notes to the candidates: 

Verify that you have the following documents in your hand-

• Provisional slip regarding the payment of fees of Rs. 40000/-, generated after the process.
• Letter of allotment
• Proof for all payments made throughout the process
• Verification documents, including school certificates
• Physical reporting of the candidate is mandatory, if not the seat will be cancelled

• School certificates, both 10th and 12th
• Original medical certificate
• Original charter certificate
• Minority certificate (if needed)
