NATA 2021 exam: The second test postponed to July, check impact on GGSIPU architecture admissionsdetails at nata.in
The second exam NATA 2021 exam was earlier scheduled on June 12 but now is postponed to July 11. The details are updated on the official website nata. in.
Due to the upsurge in cases in COVID-19, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA) has been postponed from July 11 to June 12. The details are updated on the official website nata. in.
The official statement released on the website can be quoted as “In view of the severity of the second wave of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdowns being imposed in several States/UTs in the country for containment of pandemic, it has been decided by the competent authority of the Council of Architecture that the second test of NATA 2021 examination shall now be held on 11 July instead of the earlier scheduled date of June 12, 2021”.
All the new updates regarding the second test would be soon updated on the website. The portal for registering for the second NATA test is also likely to remain open for few more days.
As per the COA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 2020 it is mandatory for students to qualify for the aptitude test set by the council for admission to the BArch course.
For this academic year, the COA has decreased the requirements for admittance to architecture programs from the board exam. Students are requested to visit the official NAT website for further updates.
The NATA is an aptitude test for entrance into BArch programs. This year the eligibility criteria are reduced to 50% marks in std. 12th or 10+3 diploma course.
Impact on GGSIPU Bachelors of Architecture Admissions
GGSIPU consider NATA scores for admissions for its prestious BArch programs. The delay in NATA would also delay the admissions process for GGGSIPU exams.
