The process of Enrollment of online counselling and verification of reserved category documents has commenced. Online verification of reserved category documents is carried out only on the basis of the information/documents provided by the candidate.
Any candidate who has not uploaded any valid document with respect to claimed reserved category is not to be considered as a reserved category candidate, but shall be converted to a general category candidate. Verification of reserved documents is provisional and the candidate is subject to production of the authentic document at the time of reporting at their college/institute.
If any document on the basis of which admission has been granted is found out to be fake or invalid, the candidate’s admission shall be cancelled even at a later stage. Hence, the candidate is responsible to ensure the authenticity of the documents supplied. With respect to the reservation of candidates in and outside Delhi region, the information is reproduced below-
1. Delhi Region 85% of the Sanctioned Intake
Candidates are considered as Delhi Region Candidates if they have passed the qualifying examination from any school/institution located in NCT of Delhi or from any college/institute affiliated to GGSIP University. All such candidates shall be notified as “Delhi Region Candidates” for the purpose of counseling for admission.
2. Outside Delhi Region 15% of the Sanctioned intake
The candidates shall be considered as Outside Delhi Region candidates if they have passed the qualifying examination from any school/college located outside Delhi. All such candidates shall be notified as “outside Delhi region Candidates” for the purpose of counselling for admission.
All the candidates are advised to fill up the correct Region and enclose the correct documents while enrolment for the Centralised online process of Counselling.
