The College of Engineering at Bharati Vidyapeeth is a private engineering school in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. CRITERIA FOR QUALIFYING

An applicant for entry to the 4-year B. Tech degree program in Computer Science Engineering must have completed the Board of Intermediate Education's Intermediate Test (10+2) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects or an equal examination.

METHOD OF ADMISSION

The merit earned by students in the JEE Mains and the GGSIPU, Delhi counselling session serves as the foundation for admission to the college.

The Centralized Counselling, which will be administered by GGSIP University, has allotted 90% of the total number of seats.

Management Group seats account for 10% of the total seats available. The Management will decide the qualifications for admission to these seats on the basis of merit, in compliance with the directions of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and GGSIP University.

COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

The department has state-of-the-art labs with cutting-edge computing systems and applications. Every laboratory has more than twenty desktop computers (as calculated by the student's realistic batch size), as well as a server and a laser printer. The labs are completely networked, and students have access to all of the resources they need to complete their assignments and conduct research.

THE CSE FACULTY

The course faculty is made up of highly educated, committed, and hardworking professors who are always eager to help students learn and develop. The college faculty is student-cantered, and since enrolment is dependent on merit, students with high rank are given priority for admission to the CSE department. PEOs (PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES)

The Bachelor of Technology Computer Science & Engineering program has three Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):

PEO1: To develop engineers with in-depth knowledge of sub-domains of computer science and engineering in order to lead to creativity, study, and academic success.

PEO2: To instill in graduates life-long learning skills that will allow them to respond to emerging technology, resources, and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

PEO3: To produce ethically compliant graduate engineers who are committed to changing society through appropriate innovation solutions.

Admissions Criteria: All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit/rank in the JEE. Note: Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission to these courses.

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.

COLLEGE RATING

After the registration , all india rank is given to all candidates based on JEE mains score. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute .
