The DELHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT, one of the most prestigious colleges in the Delhi NCR for technical education in the fields of Technology and Management, is situated on NH-1 (Delhi-Karnal GT Road) in Gannaur, Dist. Sonepat, about 30 kilometres from the Delhi border. The All-India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and the Haryana Directorate of Technical Education have also given their approval to the college. It is affiliated with GGSIP University, Delhi, and offers B.Tech. programmes (as of the new academic year 2018-19). All of the programmes are aimed at giving students a domain skill that will allow them to pursue a successful career in business or academia. However, since the college is affiliated with GGSIP University in Delhi (as of the current academic year 2018-19), we must strictly follow the curricula that it has planned and prescribed. Sanjay Nijhawan, the visionary chairperson who is committed to furthering the cause of education, has guided the Institute to its current success. He is a man of substance who stands head and shoulders above the rest, and he has become a cultural symbol for today's youth. He established this institution in 2007 to provide quality and practical education in the fields of technology and management, with the goal of creating a better tomorrow for the world. His tireless efforts have achieved incredible results, and DITM has developed itself as a centre of excellence in a short time since its inception.. Every year, approximately 1500 students from various cultural and social backgrounds attend classes in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. B. TECH IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

The study of scientific fundamentals of knowledge and computation, as well as studying functional techniques for their application in computer systems, is known as computer science. Computer Science and Engineering (CS&E) is a field that combines engineering and computer science to create computer systems. The area is concerned with the fundamental idea of how computers function and how they fit into the broader picture. A computer engineer is educated in the creation, testing, and deployment of software that allows our computers to function. Information Technology, on the other hand, is the use of computers to manipulate data – to interpret, transfer, preserve, archive, and retrieve it when necessary. The market for software professionals is at an all-time high, thanks to the exponential development of the information technology industry. B. Tech in Information Technology is a degree intended to help students improve high-level professional skills and a solid scientific understanding while still fostering their artistic and problem-solving abilities.

COMPUTING INFRASTRUCTURE

DITM ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

Admission to different programmes is based solely on the results of the National Testing Agency's Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Mains (NTA). The students are named according to their All-India Rank in their respective JEE exams (Mains). The University organises two levels of counselling to complete the admissions process. Admission is based on a management quota. According to GGSIP University regulations, the management quota fills 10% of the seats in each course on a merit basis. Applications for the seats are advertised in newspapers.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRANCE

Pass 12th Class in CBSE's 10+2 pattern or similar with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, assuming the applicant passed each subject separately. In addition, the candidate must have passed the qualifying test with English as a subject (core, elective, or functional).

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

Admissions would be granted based on merit / rank in the JEE.

After the registration , all india rank is given to all candidates based on JEE mains score. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute.
