DETAILS OF M.TECH COURSE (Nano Science and Technology) ARE OUT FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2021-22

According to the GATE score of the respective candidates, merit list for M.TECH programme has been made by the officials (Nano science and technology)

Candidates have to visit at the following venue for the process of counselling, allotment of seats, verification of documents on 22/09/2021 at 11:00 A.M.

VENUE- Room no.401, ground floor, B block, university school of basic and applied sciences Guru Gobind Singh ndraprastha University Sector- 16C , Dwarka New Delhi-110078.

The candidates who have registered  at the university are eligible for admission process along with the reserved seats for all categories (SC/ST/PWD/DEFENCE/GENERAL/EWS)

Merit list will be only displayed at the time of counselling to those candidates who have report at the venue for verification of documents dated 09/09/2021 and then accordingly seats will be allotted to the qualified candidates (cet code 149) and time for the allotment of seats is 12 noon.

Important pointers:

  1.  Merit list of the candidates may vary according to the verified documents, GAIT result, mark sheet, original documents  and counseling will be done on the basis of vacant seats according to the respective categories, and as far as vacant seats get filled up then process of allotment will be stopped.
  2. If any candidate belongs to any sub- category then for general/unreserved category that person would be eligible , it will totally depend on the region and gait score card.
  3. If seatds of sc/st remains vacant so only then that person can hope for conversin of seats, also this shall be done after last round of counseling not at first round.
  4. As seats will get  fill up so allotment of seats will also get stop.
  5. Reservation in OBC category would not be applicable for pg programmes, but general seats could be allotted to them on the basis of score or rank.
  6. Further if any candidate has doubt related to delhi /outside delhi reservations than chapter 5 could become the reference for the students.
  7. For reservation category of the GGSIPU then candidates can go through the brochures of chapter 6

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M.TECH(Engineering Physics) , code 150

Student need to get minimum 55% in their examinations in the following courses

BE/B.tech electronics/ computer science/ electrical/ engineering physics/ information technology/ instrumentation and control or equivalent

Or

m.sc in physics/ applied physics/ electronics/ mathematics or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying degree. At undergraduate level , study of physics is necessary for the candidate.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR VERIFICATION PROCESS AND ALLOTMENT OF SEATS

  1. Bank  draft ( details of candidate must be written at the back of the draft) , value of draft should be Rs 80,000 in favour of university.
  2. Four passport size photograph needed (according to the admit card)
  3. Gate score card
  4. Certificate of experience.
  5. Admission verification form’s copy.
  6. Proof of date of birth
  7. Mark sheets of the qualifying exams.
  8. Certificate of physical fitness.
  9. Certificate of reserved category.
  10. Certificate of reserved category (if candidate is claiming this)
  11. Charter certificate.
  12. Seat matrix (at the time of counseling process)
