Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi, has issued a new notification (No. 41/2025) dated 20th May 2025 clarifying that no separate counselling participation fee is required for admission to various programmes for the academic session 2025-26.
The university has informed that candidates who have already registered themselves by paying the registration fee of ₹2500 are eligible to participate in the counselling process—whether it is conducted in online or offline mode—without paying any additional counselling fee.
For admissions based on the Merit of National Level Tests, all registered candidates will be considered as “Participating Candidates” in the counselling process. Similarly, for programmes where admissions are conducted through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIPU, all CET qualified candidates will also be treated as “Participating Candidates.”
The notice was signed by Prof. Udayan Ghose, Director In-charge (Academics), and Dr. Vijay Kumar, Deputy Registrar (Academics), and was released by the university’s Academic Branch.
This announcement provides financial relief and clarity to aspirants, confirming that no hidden or additional counselling fee will be levied beyond the initial registration.
