Round 01 result has been declared with all the details of the round 02 of the B.TECH programme and information regarding B.Tech’s online counselling schedule

CET CODE OF B.TECH is 131

  1. The candidates who have completed the registration process on the GGSIPU by paying the charges of Rs 1200 which are non refundable but due to any reason did not register themselves for online counselling  process whose fees is RS 1000.
  2. Some candidates do not register themselves on the official website besides non registration for online counseling process whose   respective fees are 1200 and 1000 (non-reundable)

 

Both of the above conditions are available for the jee mains 2021 qualified candidates who wants to take admission in the GGSIPU.

In case of withdrawal

Candidate can also withdraw their fees in order to not to take admission in that respective college, the withdrawal procedure is really simple and candidate can follow from his respective account.

Verification process of the documents for the reserved category

 

  1. The candidates who have successfully registered on the university’s website , so the verification of documents will be done only for them  (All the norms related to reserved category is mentioned in the chapter 6 on the website of the university)
  2. As verification of the documents is necessary for the candidates who have registered themselves by paying the fees of Rs 1000 and are claiming for the reserved seat, and  belong from (SC/ ST/ JKM/ PWD/ DEFENCE/ JAIN MINORITY/ EWS) so to cross verify.
  3. Uploading of the documents by the reserved category is must , candidates who have already uploaded the documents can ignore this , but the fact is sooner or later candidates have to upload the documents for the verification process and the respective documents must be issued by the respective authorities. i.e Reservation Certificate : (SC/ ST/ JKM/ PWD/ DEFENCE/ JAIN MINORITY/ EWS)

Note: all the candidates are advised to check the ch-6 for the eligibility criteria for the reserved category and for any other details related to the same.

Mark the dates in your respective calendar i.e starting and closing from 15/10/2021(02:p.m) to 22/10/2021(3:00 p.m) respectively.

Following are the instructions for the candidates who want Reserved seat:

  1.  Uploading of the certificates is must in their respective names and further they can refer to ch-6 for any query on the official website of the university.
  2. The certificate must be issued under the ‘Region’ by the respective state, from which candidate is claiming to belong from.
  3.   The candidates who have completed their schooling/ college  from delhi by passing all the exams and are stating to get the  reserved seat of DSC/DST , have to submit SC/ST certificate issued by the respective authorities(govt. of NCT of Delhi only).
  4. If any candidate wants to pursue any master’s degree or any other post graduate diploma programmes in the reserved category of OBC , then that is not possible or applicable for them.
  5. University school of studies and govt. affiliated colleges allow the admission for EWS category  , the reservation seat only. Further this also depends upon the order of the Govt. of India and Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
  6. According to the rules of university if any candidate does not successfully uploaded all the required documents to get seat in the reserved category or if the documents are misleading then the candidate will lose its identity over the reserved seat and will be treated as student of the general category only.

NOTE:

  1.  it is the responsibility of the candidate to check the eligibility criteria or to cross verify all the details , if anything is misleading or false information is entered then only candidate will be held responsible for the same and his admission will  also get cancelled from the reserved category , and if candidate has made the payment so payment will not be refunded according to the norms of the university.
  2. The university will not held responsible for the network issue or any other issue related to network , so students are advised to fill up / complete all the formalities as early as possible to avoid last minute confusion.
  3. The candidates who belong from Delhi and are stating to take seat in Delhi region only must have completed their schooling and graduation from delhi only in order to be owner of the same , incorrect filling of form related to the allotment of seat will lead to the cancellation of seat at any point of time.

Steps to register online

  1. By entering all the required information like candidate’s name , father’s name , mentioning DOB , gender etc, after this creating login credentials candidate is done with 1st step.
  2. At this stage candidate has to enter his id and password and has to login with this. After this home page will be opened where candidate has to complete rest of the information like uploading the documents, paying fees etc.
  3. This step is multi step application form submission where student has to login first . and after this student need to provide with all the required details like competitive exam details , contact details etc.
  4. Now, candidate has to upload the scanned image of all the required documents, such as signature , category and sub category  within the preferred size.
  5. After completion of all the steps then at last student need to pay the registration fees via debit card , credit card , net banking by whatever method.
  6. Now, candidate is ready to download their respective completed registration form by clicking on the download button. Also candidate will get email from university.
  7. This is optional step where candidate’s can verify their email address and contact number through generating otp.
  8. Student also has option to edit their details by clicking on the edit button on the menu option.
  9. Now , at last it is the duty of the candidate to remember their respective login credentials.
  10. If candidate wishes to change the password then he can do that from change password menu.
  11. Also sometimes student faces trouble while login to their account so that can be solved as well by talking to the university’s helpdesk person before registration process ends . also the candidate need to show proof of fees submission.
  12. Before getting final print out student must check all the details thoroughly.
  13. Students are advised to take two print out of the same.

FEES SUBMISSION

  1. The candidate need to submit fees of 1000 plus charges , and this fees is non- refundable. All the taxes has to be bear by the candidate only.
  2. For depositing the fees the candidate need to visit university’s admission  website and then after registering to their respective account they need to submit their counseling fees.
  3. Student has option to pay online via 3 mode i.e via debit card, credit card or net banking.
  4. The candidate must have proof with them of paying the counseling charges, as this will help them in future if any misunderstanding is created , and they can check their status of payment  on the official website i.e https://ipu.admissions.nic.in, if fees has been payed via challan , then copy of challan is necessary.
  5. Candidate’s are requested to complete all the formalities as early as possible to avoid last minute rush.
  6. If candidate has opted debit / credit card option and fees not got submitted than in that case candidate need to pay fees once again and the amount which has been payed previously will automatically get credit to the respective account.
  7. For any help regarding fees submission the student can contact with helpdesk to get their problem solved.
  8. It is not necessary if student has got admitted to the university as paying counseling charges, counseling charges are the fees of participating only.

Why the process of choice filling is important for the candidates ?

  1. If candidate has not filled their choices then they won’t be allotted with any seat, so it is mandatory to fill the respective choices.
  2. Then candidates are required to choose amongst the available courses from the list of institutes in the respective order only, in order to get the seat.
  3. After completion of the choice filling then candidate will be allotted from the filled up choices.
  4. The candidate must choose the order of the institutes after complete research from the official website , as every detail , and cut off of respective colleges have been published on the website the only reason is behind this step is that student’s chances are increased to get their preferable seat.
  5.  It is observed from the data that some students do not fill the maximum seats which results in the non- allotment of seats , so that’s why students are advised to fill the maximum seats of their choices.
  6. After result of round 1 students will be given option to edit their choice filling preferences , but student must note down they are allowed to edit only after round 1 not before that.
  7. Also for future concerns students must get the print out of the choice filling options , to avoid any mis-confusion.

Seats allocation process for the candidates

  1. During registration process candidates are allotted with some credentials so that are used for seeing the results.
  2. Print out of the provisional allotment of letter  is required after allotment of seat is done.
  3. The provisional allotment of letter would be available only for that respective round and that is valid for only that round.
  4. After allotment of seats partial payment is necessary and candidate has to pay Rs 40,000 as part payment, otherwise student won’t be allowed for further counseling rounds and besides this clam on that particular seat will also get vanished.
  5. The options of payment which are available during payment of counseling charges so through that mode only candidates  can pay their part payment and those methods are debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
  6. If candidate has done with option 7 so in that case candidates are requested to take the receipt for the same.
  7. The receipt will work only for the respective round and not for the other rounds for a specified period of time.
  8. For any issue candidate are requested to visit or contact with the help desk in order to get their problem solved.

How to freeze / float the respective seats during counseling process:

  1. When seat is allotted to the candidate , and candidate is sure that he only wants to take admission in this particular college , so in that case candidate can freeze his respective seat, if by this round candidate is sure about his seat then after freezing no need to participate in other rounds of counseling process and candidate can freeze his step from his respective account in the given time.
  2. In case if candidate wants to shift to new college in the next round then candidate must go with float option.
  3. After opting for float candidate becomes eligible for the next counseling round and the previous seat will be remain retained by the candidate only until the result of the next round.

REFUND OF FEE OR WITHDRAWAL AFTER COUNSELLING OF THE ROUNDS:

  1. If due to any issue candidate does not want to continue with the allotted seat and wants refund so that can be done by following the withdrawal procedure from their respective accounts, the only condition is candidate has to do all these within specified time.
  2. Those who have completed the withdrawn process, freezed their seat, does not made part payment , does not fall under eligible criteria , can’t participate in further online counseling rouds.
