Bachelors in Prosthetics and Orthotics as a whole is a perfect balance of Science and Technology that helps in collectively dealing with the design, application and fabrication of the development of supporting physically diabled patients. This course prepares students for being rehabilitation therapists for people suffering from locomotor disabilities or neuromuscular disorders. 

While pursuing this course, students are also given first-hand field experience on assisting people on various injuries and are thought to play their role during the pre and post-surgery of amputees.

This course falls under the management of the Medical Program and it is a rehabilitation science program which caters to the needs of the prosthetics and orthotics domain. The average BPO salary can be from INR 3,00,000 to INR 8,00,000. BPO is an undergrad course, the length of that is four years. This course principally deals with the reclamation of people with locomotive or contractile organ disabilities. BPO admissions are done through entrance examination mode or direct admission. While following this course, students are given appropriate coaching so they'll be ready to provide treatment of amputated pre and post-surgery.An opportunity to require a clinical approach to treat patients with any prosthetic or orthotic parts are going to be given to the scholars when the completion of this course. To be thought of eligible to hunt admission to the present course, candidates should have secured an combination of a minimum of five hundredth marks in school twelve in Science Stream. Admission to the present course are going to be done either on the idea of the candidate's performance within the entrance check or on the idea of performance within the qualifying examination.

After the IPU CET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off is different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidates vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by the institute . The appearance in IPU CET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
