ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Chanderprabhu Jain College of Higher Studies is a private college in Narela, New Delhi established by Rishi Aurobindo Educational Society. The college is recognized by Bar Council of India and was established in the year 2007. It is in affiliation to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which is approved by AICTE and Accredited Grade ‘A’ by NAAC. This institute offers undergraduate course of 3 years in BBA, BCA, BBA (CAM), BCom. (Hons) and 5 years integrated course in BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons).

The college is away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis and thus provides a pleasant and intellectual ambience.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The Bachelor’s in Business Administration, BBA (General) is 3 years (6 semesters) undergraduate programme. It is an innovative programme in the area of Business to impart understanding and skills related to the use of management and its applications.

During the course students cover various subjects in the fields of commerce, business and administration such as Business Organisation, Fundamentals of Accounting, Business Statistics etc.

STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE

The BBA (General) course is divided into 6 semesters which is of 5 months’ time-period and each semester comprises of theory and practical subjects.

An academic calendar consists of 2 semesters and has a working duration of about 21 weeks In addition, every semester has a paper of Personality Development and Communication Skills to improve the personality of the students.

VISION

The vision of this course is to develop values of excellence, ethics and practical learning skills among the students. It aims to open a channel of admission for Business and Management for students who are interested in taking Management as a career.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this course is to equip the students with necessary conceptual, entrepreneurial and analytical skills to prepare students for tomorrow and equipping them today with core business knowledge, communication skills and attitude towards social responsibility which provides the foundation for the personal and professional growth and will help them perform more efficiently in their future work life.

The BBA graduates has a lot of employment opportunities as a Finance Manager, Business Administrator, Business Consultant, Marketing Manager, Human Resource Manager etc.

DEPARTMENT OF BBA (General)

The department of the college is established with high-tech state of art and fully air-conditioned classrooms. The department also has a separate library with a wide collection of text books for students and faculty.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• A candidate eligible for admission to the 3-year BBA undergraduate degree course must be Passed in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
• The candidates must have qualified CUET.

ADMISSION PROCESS

• The candidates must apply through CUET for the admission to any of the courses offered by CPJ (Chanderprabhu Jain) College.
• The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
• The candidates who qualify CUET are only eligible for the admission in the college.

ABOUT THE PLACEMENT CELL

The objective of the placement cell of CPJ College is to provide the best career opportunities to the students in the field of Business Administration. The Placement Cell takes up the task of ensuring that the students get proper exposure through rigorous training and internships. The cell is responsible to discover the interests and skills of the students.

Companies like Wipro, Tata Consulting Services, Infosys, GE Capital, Godrej, HDFC Life, HERO and much more visits the college and provides the best placement records in the college.

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
