ABOUT THE COURSE

The Bachelors of Business Administration is 3 years (6 semesters) undergraduate programme which is aimed to inculcate in-depth knowledge of Management Concepts, Techniques, Tools and their Application in live situation by developing Leadership Skills, Team Spirit and Analytical Abilities among the students.

During the course students cover various subjects such as Principles of Management, Business Economics, Business Organisation, Data Base Management System, Marketing Management, Organisational Behaviour, Entrepreneurship Development, Indian Economy, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility etc.

STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE

The BBA course is divided into 3 years and further divided into 6 semesters. An academic calendar consists of 2 semesters of working duration of about 21 weeks and each paper consists of theory as well as practical subjects.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• A candidate eligible for admission to the 3-year BBA undergraduate degree course must be Passed in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

ADMISSION PROCESS

• The candidates must apply through CUET for the admission to any of the courses offered by JIMS.
• The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
• The candidates who qualify CUET are only eligible for the admission in the college.

ABOUT THE PLACEMENT CELL

The placement cell of JIMS Vasant Kunj is full-fledged and has a well- established network of Multinational Organisations which strengthens the institute as a leader among the other GGSIPU colleges and is recognizable as another backbone of the institute aimed to provide placements to deserving candidates in different companies for Internships and Live Projects and preparing them to gain knowledge which is needed to plan, setup and run a Business of their own.

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
