IMPORTANT NOTICE – BA(Economics) (H) (Code-197) & B.Sc(MIT) (Code-134)

This is the last opportunity for taking admissions in the last special spot offline counselling round for admissions in the BA(Economics) (H) (Code-197) and B.Sc(MIT) (Code-134) streams for the 2023-24 session. 

This information is for all the stakeholders, that the University shall start the procedure of offline registration and seat allotment for the LAST SPECIAL SPOT OFFLINE COUNSELLING ROUND for taking admissions in the mentioned streams in the University Campus, Dwarka for the 2023-24 session.

Important Guidelines

  1. Criteria of candidates: The University is about to conduct the Last Special Spot Offline Counselling Round for the  CET 2023 and CUET 2023 qualified candidates for the mentioned streams, EXCEPT the candidates as mentioned below – 
  • Admitted candidates in the above-mentioned streams for the session 2023-24. This also includes admitted candidates of centralized online/offline counselling of the above-mentioned streams for the session 2023-24.
  • Candidates, whose name appears as “Allotted candidates” in the list of the last spot round of centralized online counselling of the above-mentioned streams for the session 2023-24. 
  1. Those candidates who have participated and have been allotted the seats during the last spot round of centralized online counselling for the session 2023-24, shall not be eligible to participate in this round of counselling. 
  2. This is a clear statement that the Last Special Spot Offline Round of counselling is being conducted for the candidates defined in Para 1(A). NO SHIFTING OF ADMITTED CANDIDATES SHALL TAKE PLACE. 
  3. Those candidates who have taken admission in the Management quota in in the affiliated colleges, shall not be eligible for participation in this round of counselling. but if, any student registers in this counselling shall not be allowed to participate in the Last Special Spot Offline Round of counselling. 
  4. NOTE: The candidate will be required to give the undertaking in the form provided at the time of counselling. This undertaking will clarify that the candidate has neither taken admission in the Management quota nor will participate in this Last special spot offline round of counselling as per the guidelines. 
  5. For participation, it is mandatory for each candidate to submit the duly filled-in registration form and document verification form through offline mode in E-Block, Seminar Hall, GGSIP University, Sector-16, Dwarka, New Delhi- 110078, on a scheduled date and time. After the scheduled date and time, Nr forms will be accepted. 

 

Registration for the counselling shall start from 10.11.2023( As per the details given below) :

To participate in counselling, the Candidate has to pay the application fee of Rs. 1500/-(Non-refundable) after filling up the application form

For participation, it is mandatory to fill out the registration form and document verification form of the counselling and submit it through offline mode to the university office on the scheduled date and time. Such candidates are required to submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 3500/- (Non-refundable) in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, as a participation fee of offline counselling along with the registration form.

To participate in counselling, the Candidate has to pay the application fee of Rs. 1500/-(Non-refundable) and also pay a counselling participation fee of Rs. 1,000/- after filling up the application form

For participation, it is mandatory to fill out the registration form and document verification form of the counselling and submit it through offline mode to the university office on the scheduled date and time. Such candidates are required to submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 2500/- (Non-refundable) in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, as a participation fee of offline counselling along with the registration form.

Such candidates are required to submit a Demand Draft of Rs. 5000/- (Non-refundable) in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, as a participation fee of offline counselling along with the registration form.

  1. The candidate will not be allowed any kind of refund of fee for withdrawal of admission taken in the Last Special Spot Offline Round of counselling for the session 2023-24.
  2. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria and other important instructions for admissions in the above said 04 streams, BA(Economics) (H) (Code-197) and B.Sc(MIT) (Code-134) streams as written in the admission brochure for the session 2023-24, and available on the University website – www.ipu.ac.in and www.ipu.admission.nic.in
  3. The allotment of seats for the Last Special Spot Offline Round of counselling in the streams BA(Economics) (H) (Code-197) and B.Sc(MIT) (Code-134) for the session 2023-24 shall be held on 10.11.2023. all the candidates will be required to carry a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,00,000/- as a part academic fee in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University as per the schedule. The remaining fee shall be submitted to the allotted colleges/institutes/USS respectively. The University will not entertain any request of a candidate for not being able to bring a demand draft, and the University shall allot the seat to the next candidate present at the time of counselling.
  4. Important documents required at the counselling time:
  • A demand draft of Rs. 1,00,000/- as a part of academic fee
  • 04 nos of passport size photographs( as in application form)
  • Result of CET 2023
  • Date of birth certificate ( secondary school mark sheet and certificate)
  • Certificates of qualifying examination (original certificates/ mark sheets of all the semester-wise/year-wise)
  • For distance/open learning cases- bring study centre proof/distance education certifying the location of the study centre.
  • Medical fitness certificate – Bring the certificate from a registered medical practitioner as per the format given in the Performa of a medical certificate given in the admission brochure 2023-24.
  • Copy of online reserved categories verification slip
  • Reserved category certificate - (SC/ST/DEF/KM/PWD. The defence category shall also bring Appendix 1 duly completed given in the admission brochure 2023-24.)
  • Character and conduct certificate – Bring the certificate from a Gazetted officer or the head of the institution from where the qualifying examination has been passed. 
  • Age relaxtion approval application( if, necessary)
  • No provisional certificates (especially for reserved categories)will be allowed at the time of counselling/admission. The caste certificate must be in the name of a candidate himself/herself and not in the favour of respective parents/guardians.
  • Respective all affiliated colleges shall ensure that the candidates have valid certificates for the counselling process. ( particularly for reserved category seats)
  1. All the candidates who are willing to participate in the Last Special Spot Offline Round of counselling, are advised to read the details of the admission brochure carefully for the session 2023-24. They must visit the official university website - www.ipu.ac.in and the online admission website - www.ipu.admission.nic.in  for regular updates.
