ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Kamal Institute of Higher Education and Advanced technology (KIHEAT) is a private college in Mohan Garden, New Delhi set-up by Sankalpa Educational Welfare and Charitable Society (Regd.). The college is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and was established in the year 2001. It is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which is approved by AICTE and Accredited Grade ‘A’ by NAAC. This institute offers undergraduate education in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication BA (JMC), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Commerce B.Com (H) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

The Bachelors of Business Administration is 3 years (6 semesters) undergraduate programme which is aimed to inculcate in-depth knowledge of Management Concepts, Techniques, Tools and their Application in live situation by developing Leadership Skills, Team Spirit and Analytical Abilities among the students.

During the course students cover various subjects such as Principles of Management, Business Economics, Business Organisation, Data Base Management System, Marketing Management, Organisational Behaviour, Entrepreneurship Development, Indian Economy, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility etc.

STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE

The BBA course is divided into 3 years and further divided into 6 semesters. An academic calendar consists of 2 semesters of Theory course as well as Practical course.

The vision of this course is to prepare young men and women who may act as leaders and are capable of facing environmental challenges for the promotion of economic and social development of the country and are also able to play a creative role in the uplift of the mankind.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this course is to open channel of admission for students who are interested in taking Business Administration as a career and develop the best Business Minds of tomorrow by imparting the basic concepts of Business Management and Entrepreneurship Abilities and acquiring them with practical application-based opportunities, holistic personality and soft skills for their Career Development. It also aims to develop in-depth knowledge of Sustainable Development Goals and motivation to contribute the students in their attainment.

The BBA graduates have a lot of employment opportunities as a Finance Manager, Business Administrator, Marketing Manager, Human Resource Manager, Business Consultant, Retail Manager, Operations Manager, Tourism Manager, Sales Manager and much more.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate eligible for admission to the 3-year BBA undergraduate degree course must be Passed in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

ADMISSION PROCESS

The candidates must apply through CUET for the admission to any of the courses offered by KIHEAT.
The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
The candidates who qualify CUET are only eligible for the admission in the college.

ABOUT THE PLACEMENT CELL

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
