Chanderprabhu Jain College of Higher Studies is a private college in Narela, New Delhi established by Rishi Aurobindo Educational Society. The college is recognized by Bar Council of India and was established in the year 2007. It is in affiliation to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which is approved by AICTE and Accredited Grade ‘A’ by NAAC. This institute offers undergraduate course of 3 years in BBA, BCA, BBA (CAM), BCom. (Hons) and 5 years integrated course in BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons).
The college is away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis and thus provides a pleasant and intellectual ambience.
ABOUT THE COURSE
The Bachelor’s in Commerce BCom. (H) is 3 years (6 semesters) undergraduate honours programme which is designed to provide a wide range of managerial skills by building a competence in a particular area with a specialisation in a particular subject.
During the course the subjects covered by the students are in the fields of accounting and commerce, banking, taxation, finance and insurance and is the best course for students pursuing CA and CFA.
STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE
The BCom. (H) course is divided into 6 semesters which is of 5 months’ time-period and each semester comprises of theory and practical subjects. An academic calendar consists of 2 semesters and has a working duration of about 21 weeks.
VISION
The vision of this course is to improve the institutional perseverance, persistence and patience among the students through effective teaching-learning. It aims to open a channel of admission for Finance for students who are interested in taking Accounts or Finance as a career.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this course is to expose students with general business principles, accounting, economics and quantitative skills and to upgrade students’ knowledge by providing an insight into the actual requirements of the industry. It also aims to emphasis on problem solving in the real business environment.
The BCom. (H) graduates are highly in demand across the country and has various job opportunities as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Business Accounting and Taxation (BAT), Company Secretary (CS), Actuarial Sciences, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) etc.

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
