The College of Engineering at Bharati Vidyapeeth is a private engineering school in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY

A applicant for admission to Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering's 4-year B-Tech degree programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering must have passed the Board of Intermediate Education's Intermediate Test (10+2) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects or some other comparable examination.

 

ADMISSION PROCESS

• Admission to the college is dependent on the students' success in the JEE Mains and the counselling session held by GGSIPU, Delhi.

• The Unified Counselling, which will be administered by GGSIP University, has allotted 90% of the total number of seats.

• Administration Category seats account for 10% of the total seats. The Management will decide the qualifications for admission to these seats on the basis of merit, in compliance with the directions of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and GGSIP University.

 

 

 

 

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

Faculty members are highly educated, committed, and eager to collaborate with students to ensure that they continue to learn and develop. The attention of the faculty is on the students. Since the admissions process is merit-based, students with high grades choose to enrol in the EEE department. Both faculty and administration have a common desire for graduate school to become a development field and a core institution. The department has outstanding discipline. Students may enrol in a number of internship programmes and learning experiences. Faculty is study-oriented, so students are often encouraged to participate in research projects. Many non-teaching personnel development activities are started and completed successfully. The college administration supports faculty members to pursue higher education by offering research leaves and ODs. Students in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department consistently achieve excellent results. The student-industry relationship is awesome, and there are several manufacturing ventures ongoing. Mentoring students is an excellent academic support programme.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR B. TECH

Pass 12th Class in CBSE's 10+2 pattern or similar with a minimum of 55 percent combined in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics if the candidate has passed each subject separately. In addition, the candidate must have passed the qualifying test for English as a subject of study (core, elective, or functional).

 

CRITERIA FOR B. TECH ADMISSIONS

All candidates must take the National Testing Agency's Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 to be considered (NTA). The University will not hold its own CET for admissions, instead relying on the JEE Main Paper 1 merit for admissions. Admissions would be given based on merit / rank in the JEE.

COLLEGE RATING

After the registration , all india rank is given to all candidates based on JEE mains score. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute.
