B. Tech in Indraprastha University: schedule for SPOT Counselling

The SPOT counseling or B. Tech through JEE Main Paper- 1 is now scheduled. The candidates have to report in the concerned institutes after allotment, compulsorily to get admitted to the seat. This counseling session is for vacant seats in the academic year 2021-22, arisen by the withdrawal of certain students, after seeking admission. Any candidate who successfully completed admission process in first rounds can take part in the SPOT round.

The details regarding the number of seats available will be declared on 06- 12- 2021. Other important dates are-

Registration for SPOT round of counseling	Starting - 02- 12- 2021 (from 02.00 pm) Closing - 06- 12- 2021 (11.50 pm)
Choice filling	07- 12- 2021 (from 11.00 am) – to- 09- 12- 2021 (11.50 pm)
Declaration of SPOT counseling results	10- 12- 2021
Reporting time for the allotted institution	From 15- 12- 2021 (10.00 am) To 17- 12- 2021 (04.30 pm)

Important instructions to the candidates

Download the payment acknowledgement slip, once after paying the amount of 40000/- after getting allotted in the SPOT round.
Download provisional admission letter
Report in the allotted college/ institution, within the specified time, if not the seat will be considered to be vacant.
Submit all the required documents without fail, if not the admission will be considered as invalid.
Check the eligibility criteria and make sure that you are eligible.
Report in the institution, if your name is placed in the list itself. It will mark you as ‘reported candidate’ in the process.
Go through the Clause 3.5 – Chapter 3 of the notification brochure (2021-22), if you are a student waiting for the final results

Candidates need to check all the necessary documents, before reporting in the college itself. The required documents include –

Medical Certificate
Character certificate
Minority Certificate (if needed)

Original copy of all certificates should be submitted in the college/ institution during reporting time. However, having a copy of the same is good.
