COUNSELING SCHEDULE FOR THE PROGRAMMES (M.TECH – CSE AND ECE WEEKEND PROGRAMME) ARE OUT FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2021-22

On 26th September 2021 merit list of the qualifying candidates for the admission in the programme of m.tech – cse and ece weekend programme have been out by the university. So all of them are requested to visit at the below mentioned details for the process.

Details:

Counselling date: 23.10.2021(Saturday) CSE and 24.10.2021(Sunday) ECE

Venue: university school of information, communication and technology, room no. EFC – 315, E block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University sector -16C, Dwarka, New Delhi 110078.

  1. The candidates who have successfully qualified the test and got their name in the merit list, and wants to take admission against reserved seats of SC/ST/PH/EWS (Delhi and outside delhi) defence category(priority) (Delhi and outside delhi according to admission brochure for 2021-22
  2. If any candidate wishes to convert the reserved seats  (SC/ST/PH/EWS) into the general category than that will be done only according to their respective region.

  1. If any candidate fails to report at the respective venue on 20th and 21st October for the process of documents verification then they can visit at the venue on 23rd   and 24th  October 2021 for the documents verification process of CSE and Ecebetween 1pm to 2pm  respectively.
  2. All the candidates are requested to be prepare with documents and DD at the time of counseling as without DD no seat will be allotted to them.
  3. Seats will be allotted to each one of the candidate at the time of counseling only.
  4. On 27th September 2021, merit list has already been out by the university.
  5. Students must check the eligibility criteria for the admission process which is mentioned in the brochure.

Required documents for the counseling process:

 

  1. Bank draft of Rs 82000 which should be drawn in favour of the university which needs to be payed at Delhi. On the back nameof the candidate, programme name and contact number should e there(otherwise no seat will be allotted)
  2. Candidates are requested to fill the appendix 4a of the admission brochure 2021-22
  3. Mark sheet and certificate of the qualifying exam issued byuniversity.
  4. Certificate/ percentage proof
  5. SC/ST/OBC/EWS / PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED/ DEFENCE CATEGORY CERTIFICATE , on the basis of which candidate have to take admission in the reserve class. ( copy+original)
  6. The certificate should be from the respective category only, in which candidate has applied , let’s say in DSC category candidate have applied so SC certificate issued by NCT of Delhi will work.
  7. Character certificate is required from the head of the institute of qualifying exam the only condition is that should not be more than 6 months old.

Terms and conditions

  1. If certificates or any other document is in any other language apart from English and hindi then candidate have to get it translate from the officials only , otherwise candidate will be held responsible for the cancellation of the admission.
  2. If candidate has done previous education from any other country then certificate from university equivalence committee is required.
  3. If any married woman is applying in reserved category than caste certificate will work in the name of herself.
  4. All the certificates will be checked at the time of counseling if candidate is claiming to get admission in reserved category  issued from the authorized body. 

Instructions for the 2nd counseling

  1. Seats will be allotted according to the ranks of the candidatesfor all the categories also those were not able to attend the first counseling, now can attend the second counseling process.
  2. If any candidate did not show up at the time of counseling on the respective date, so they can claim their seat now.
  3. After filling of all the seats, no new candidatw would be allotted any seat.
  4. Even if the candidate scores good rank but fails to exercise the option in person than his ownership on the vacant seat will be cancelled and university will not be answerable for the same.
  5. Before exit from the counselling hall all the candidates are requested to check all the documents and details having with them such as fee, their name, rank, institute of admission etc.
  6. The conversion will be done of the reserved seats of sc/ st/ ews/ ph to the general category at 2nd stage of counseling only. If any seat will be vacant of the sc category then that can be offered to the st category or vice versa and after completion of this only then reserved seats will be transferred to general category students.
  7. At the time of open house counselling seats which are reserved for the delhi candidates will be opened for outside delhi. Conversion of seats before open house is not possible.
  8. Students who want to withdrawal their admission so this can be done only by before 15th October 2021. Application for the same to be submitted at the dean office.
  9. As refund related queries have been mentioned in the ch-12 fee refund policy so all the applications will be processed according to the above.
