DETAILS OF THE SCHEDULE OF COUNSELLING OF M.TECH PROGRAMME FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2021-22

Schedule of counselling of m.tech has been out which will get conducted in 2 phases i.e first phase (verification of documents) , second phase (for allotment of seats). All the candidates are requested to go through both of the schedules , as their presence is required.

So all the candidates who have qualified gate successfully, and non-gate candidates and wants to pursue M.tech (engineering physics) from the university must reach at the following venue on mentioned date and time according to their ranks for both the phases.

The candidates who have successfully registered and wants to take admission through qualified gate score and registration by the non- gate score candidates  wants admission against reserved seats according to rank 1 and so on, region does not matter

NOTE:

  1. After analyzing of the respective GATE score so merit list of the candidates could be changed, with the changes in the other information after checking all the documents of the respective child.
  2.  As soon as the seats get filled up allotment will get stop on the spot.
  3.  The counseling of the seats will depend totally on the availability of the seats of each category.

IMPORTANT POINTERS:

  1. If any candidate owns sub category than also candidate can get seat in general category/ unreserved , the only thing which would be considered is their GATE score card.
  2. Conversion of the seats will definitely be done from SC/ST to general category  but only after  the last counseling round’s completion and at the last round but conversion of seats is not possible before that also seats which belong to sc category and left vacant then that can be used for st category or vice versa.
  3. After filling of all the seats allotment process will get stop.
  4. If any candidate wants to pursue any master’s degree or any other post graduate diploma programmes in the reserved category of OBC , then that is not possible or applicable for them,but the candidates can claim seats according to their category.

Allocation of the seat in delhi or outside delhi region:

Candidates can refer chapter 5 for the explanation of the same.

Reservation policy:

Candidates can refer chapter 6 for the explanation of the same.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR M.TECH(Engineering Physics) , code 150

Student need to get minimum 55% in their examinations in the following courses

BE/B.tech electronics/ computer science/ electrical/ engineering physics/ information technology/ instrumentation and control or equivalent

Or

m.sc in physics/ applied physics/ electronics/ mathematics or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying degree. At undergraduate level , study of physics is necessary for the candidate.

 

 

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR VERIFICATION PROCESS AND ALLOTMENT OF SEATS

  1. Bank  draft ( details of candidate must be written at the back of the draft) , value of draft should be Rs 80,000 in favour of university.
  2. Four passport size photograph needed (according to the admit card)
  3. Gate score card
  4. Certificate of experience.
  5. Admission verification form’s copy.
  6. Proof of date of birth
  7. Mark sheets of the qualifying exams.
  8. Certificate of physical fitness.
  9. Certificate of reserved category.
  10. Certificate of reserved category (if candidate is claiming this)
  11. Charter certificate.

Instructions for the candidates for 2nd round of counselling 2021-22

  1. Change of category in second round won’t be allowed after selection of category in the first round.
  2. Seats to the candidates will be allotted according to their rank, for example candidate with rank 1 would be given preference over other candidates irrespective of their category.
  3. Those who won’t be able to attend firstround of counseling can join 2 nd round of counseling.
  4. Those who want reach at the allotted date and time will lose his ownership over the seat but if somehow candidate manages to reach at later rounds, then candidate would be considered for allotment process but the condition is candidate have not taken admission earlier.
  5. Conversion would be done only after completion of the 2nd round of counseling from sc/st/ seats to general category seats condition applies if it is offline counselling,  
  6. Also if any seat belongs to sc category and that is left vacant than that can be offered to st category or vice versa.
  7. Open house counseling should be adopted for the left over seats of the delhi category for outside delhi region or vice versa.
  8. Seat matrix to be displayed at the time of counselling.
  9. Open house counseling- after the completion of the second round of counseling vacant seats would be offered to the candidates according to their respective ranks. Fees of rs 1000 is required to be paid for  the open house counseling.
  10. Withdrawal of admission – details are mentioned in the chapter 12, which candidates can check on the official website.
