Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has outlined the tentative timeline for the 2026 admission cycle, giving aspirants an early idea of when the application and entrance processes will begin. Students planning to apply for IPU courses through IPU CET or CUET should keep a close eye on these key dates.
Online Registration for IPU CET 2026
The online registration and application submission for courses that require GGSIPU CET 2026 is scheduled to begin from 2 February 2026.
The last date to apply for CET-based courses is 31 March 2026.
Applicants will need to:
Fill the online application form
Pay an application fee of ?2500 (plus applicable taxes/service charges)
This window is crucial for candidates targeting CET-based programs such as various professional and technical courses offered by IPU and its affiliated colleges.
Registration for Courses Where NLT Applies
For courses where NLT (National Level Test) scores are used instead of IPU CET, the registration will also start from 2 February 2026.
The closing date for these courses is currently to be notified later, except for B.Design, where the last date is expected to be 30 April 2026.
Students applying through national tests like CUET, CLAT, JEE, NATA, etc., will fall under this category depending on the specific course.
GGSIPU CET 2026 Exam Dates
The university plans to conduct the GGSIPU CET 2026 examinations between 25 April 2026 and 17 May 2026.
Different CET codes (for different courses) will be scheduled on specific dates within this period. Candidates must download their admit cards and check their exact exam date and shift once released.
Registration for CUET Qualified Candidates
For courses where admission will be based on CUET scores, a separate IPU registration and counselling process will be required.
The start date for registration of CUET-qualified candidates for the 2026–27 academic session is yet to be announced. Candidates should regularly check official IPU notifications to avoid missing this step, as CUET score alone is not enough without IPU counselling registration.
