Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Has Extended the Admission process schedule for the academic year 2023-24
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi has recently released a notice about an extension in the admission process schedule for the academic year 2023-24. The University has extended the Schedule for the submission of the counselling participation fee, the verification of documents of the reserved category candidates and the commencement of choice/preference filling for Admission in the following courses for the Academic year 2023-24:
Candidates falling under the following category are eligible to register and submit an online counseling participation fee of Rs. 1000/-:
1) Payment of Counselling Participation fee:
a) Candidates who have already filled out the Online Application Form of GGSIPU and paid the requisite fee of Rs.1500/- (non-refundable) are required to enroll for Centralized Online Process for Counselling and pay the Counselling participation fee of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) can be paid securely through net banking, credit card, or debit card. The closing date is up to 7 June 2023, 11.50 pm.
b) Candidates who have not filled out the Online Application Form of GGSIPU earlier as per notified dates are requested to register and pay the online application fee of Rs. 1,500/- (non-refundable) and then enroll for Centralized Online Process for Counselling along with Counselling Participation fee of Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) through net banking/credit card and debit card. The closing date is up to 7 June 2023, 11:50 pm.
2) Choices/preferences filling (for round one):
Candidates who have
a) already filled out the Online Application Form of GGSIPU and paid the requisite fee of Rs.1500/-
b) Enrolled for Centralized Online Process for Counselling and paid the Counselling Participation fee of Rs.1000/-
Students should note that choice filling does not mean allotment of seats in a particular college. The allotment will be based on seats in each college as per the seat matrix which will be uploaded on the University website at the time of counselling. Closing date up to 8 June 2023, 11:50 pm.
3) a) Online verification of documents for reserved category candidates to be done by GGSIPU who have successfully registered and paid the requisite fees.
b) Online verification of entitlement documents to claim the benefit of Reserved Category of registered candidates who have paid Counselling Participation fees (i.e. SC/ ST/ OBC/ KM/PWD/DEFENCE/JAIN MINORITY/SIKH MINORITY/ EWS/ MUSLIM/ ARMY).
c)The candidates claiming benefits under the reserved category have to upload the relevant supporting documents duly issued by the competent authority.
Note that all the verification of reserved category candidates will be done online by University. The Closing Date is up to 11 June 2023, 11:50 pm.
Candidates who have already registered and intend to participate in the Centralized Online Counselling for admission to various programs in the Academic Session 2023-24 are strongly advised to stay updated by visiting the University website www.ipu.ac.in and the online admission website https://ipu.admissions.nic.in regularly. This will ensure that they receive the latest updates and information regarding the counselling process.
The Schedule for allotment of seats and further instructions will be notified on 12.06.2023 by the University.
