Kasturi Ram College of Higher Education

Kasturi Ram College of Higher Education is closely affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. In addition to this, the College was basically established in the year 2005 by Vice-Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University by University by respected Professor K. K. Aggarwal under the guidance of honorable Kasturi Ram Research Centre for Science and Management. Kasturi Ram Research Centre for Science and Management is a huge body officially registered under the Society Registration Act XXI in the year 1860 with the aim of influencing quality education. Also, it tries to build competent professionals. This particular College has been awarded by the Joint Assessment Committee of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Late Shri Ram Chander Aggarwal cherished the dream of establishing a modern educational institute for the youth. Similarly Smt. Kasturi Devi of Narela, Delhi-40, who was from this semi-urban area, had a dream of upliftment of the other sectors—keeping in mind the ups and downs of life late, Sh. Ram Chander Aggarwal entrusted this job to his sons Shri Mahender Kumar Aggarwal. In addition to this, they both had not predicted the unexpected changes that may happen in the future. Later, Shri Ravinder Aggarwal to work hard to complete his goal before leaving this institution and for his heavenly abode. 

 Shri Mahender Kumar Aggarwal wished to Fulfill the pledge of their parents along with a dedication to contribute much more effort towards the betterment of society. In addition to this, in the year 2005, Shri Ravinder Kumar Aggarwal also established Kasturi Ram College of Higher Education. Thus the wonderful journey in this education, Delhi, And, thus, the journey began.

KASTURI RAM COLLEGE OF HIGHER EDUCATION IS RUNNING THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMES :

 B.Com. (H) is a renowned three-year full-time program offered by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The program is designed to develop skills in Commerce and Industry. The aim and priority of this course are to educate the students within depth knowledge of commerce, accounting principles, economics, and Management that can be thoroughly applied to contemporary and traditional business practices through decision-making, controlling, and financial planning in organizations. This program fosters commerce aspirants who aim to build their professional competence with appropriate knowledge in the sector of Business as well as Commerce.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• A candidate eligible for admission to the 3-year BCom. (H) undergraduate degree course must have
  50% in aggregate in 10+2 examination / Senior School Certificate Examination of C.B.S.E. as minimum marks for admission to B.Com with pass in five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent to that. (i) Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian school / college.                              OR
  Intermediate Examination of an Indian University / Board or an Examination recognized as equivalent to that (Pass in five written subjects) (ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Pass in five written subjects). (iii) Examination of a foreign University / Board which is recognized as equivalent to 10+2 CBSE examination/or Indian University.
• The candidates must have qualified CUET.

ADMISSION PROCESS

• The candidates must apply through CUET for the admission to any of the courses offered by Kasturi Ram College of Higher Education
• The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
• The candidates who qualify CUET are only eligible for the admission in the college.

Similarly, the placements cell organizes many events such as Group Discussion at different intervals, Mock Interview, Extempore, HR Conclave, Case-studies, Quiz, etcetera 

 . The Placement Cell also promotes multiple writing activities like 

 Resume Writing Exercise, Self-Assessment worksheets, Drafting Cover Letter, etcetera. The Placement Cell works hard to improve creative writing and provides Better Writing Skills Development for the students.

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
