Army Institute of Education (AIE) was established in August 2003 with the aim of providing pre-service teacher education to the dependents of Army personnel underneath the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES)

 

The Institute shifted to larger NOIDA field from metropolis Cantt on twenty three July 2013 and is presently situated in Plot M-1, Pocket P-5, larger NOIDA, Gautam Budh Nagar (UP) at a distance of three.5 klick from Pari Chowk (Adjacent to AWHO Project). town is well connected to Noida and metropolis by conveyance.

 

Army Institute of Education is attached to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. it's recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for its Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) programme and therefore the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for its B.Ed. education (Learning Disability) programme . The Institute is NAAC commissioned and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

 

 

A Bachelor of Education ( teacher education programme) of the length of 2 educational years resulting in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, national capital and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).The Programme is obtainable since the origin of the Institute in 2003. The annual intake of the programme is one hundred seats p.a. Admissions ar supported advantage within the Common Entrance check (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. The Institute offers admission solely to wards, wives and widows of serving / retired Army personnel.Two year B. Ed. programme of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, national capital consists of each theory courses and practicum. 80 per cent group action in theory courses and ninety per cent group action in practicum is necessary for all students as per NCTE & University norms to seem in finish Term Examinations of every semester.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility for taking admission in Don Bosco Technical Institute:

To pursue a Bed programme programme, one need not compulsory have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects in Class 12th. Infact, candidates who have pursued Arts or Commerce in class XII can also join the course.

 

Basic eligibility requirements for a bed course:

Aspirants must have passed 10+2 from any stream with English as a subject with minimum 45% to 55% marks in aggregate (the pass percentage might vary from college to college)

  • The candidates must apply through GGSIPU CET for the admission to B.Ed. course
  • The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.

After the IPU CET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off is different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidates vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by the institute . The appearance in IPU CET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
