ABOUT THE COLLEGE

The College of Engineering at Bharati Vidyapeeth is a private engineering school in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. This college, which is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, was established in 1999 and is accredited by the AICTE. Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology (IT), Electrical & Electronics, and Instrumentation and Control Engineering are among the five specialisations available in the college's full-time 4-year B-Tech programme. ABOUT THE COURSE

The Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation and Control Engineering is a full-time undergraduate engineering programme that lasts four years (8 semesters).

THE DEPARTMENT'S BACKGROUND:

 In the year 2002, the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering was created. The Department of Industrial Automation, Process Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Systems Engineering, and Biomedical Instrumentation has a team of well-qualified, seasoned, and devoted faculty to impart fundamental and applied expertise in the fields of Industrial Automation, Process Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Systems Engineering, and Biomedical Instrumentation. The department is well-equipped with cutting-edge labs and computing equipment. The department has an ISA (International Society of Automation) student chapter to help students develop technological and organisational skills. The department's primary aim is to train students to address global industrial challenges. Students who graduate have a wide range of job prospects in industries such as instrumentation, process engineering, factory automation, and other sectors of the economy, as well as study opportunities at nationally and internationally ranking institutes and universities.

CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY

Candidates for admission to the four-year Engineering degree programme must have completed the Board of Intermediate Education's Intermediate test (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or some other examination

THE ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

GGSIPU, Delhi will hold the counselling session, and students will be admitted based on their JEE MAINS merit. The Consolidated Counselling, which will be conducted by GGSIP University, will occupy 90 percent of the total number of seats.

10% of seats are set aside for the Management Category. According to the instructions of the Govt. of NCT, Delhi, and GGSIP University, admission to this 10% Reserved Management Category Seats would be performed on a merit basis by the Management.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS) OF THE DEPARTMENT

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR B. TECH

Pass 12th Class in CBSE's 10+2 pattern or similar with a minimum of 55 percent combined in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics if the candidate has passed each subject separately. In addition, the candidate must have passed the qualifying test for English as a subject of study (core, elective, or functional).

CRITERIA FOR B. TECH ADMISSIONS

All candidates must take the National Testing Agency's Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 to be considered (NTA). The University will not hold its own CET for admissions, instead relying on the JEE Main Paper 1 merit for admissions. Admissions would be given based on merit / rank in the JEE.

After the registration , all india rank is given to all candidates based on JEE mains score. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute.
