Gitarattan International Business School (GIBS) is a private college in Rohini, New Delhi. The college is recognized by Bar Council of India and was established in the year 2004 under the aegis of Rohini Educational Society. ABOUT THE COURSE

Bachelor of Business Administration + Bachelor of Law (BBA LLB) is 5 years (10 semesters) integrated undergraduate program which is designed for aspirants to acquire legal degree and become law professionals.

During the course students cover various subjects such as Principles of Management, Financial Accounting, Computer Applications, Effective Communication etc along with law subjects like Law of Torts, Family Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law etc.

STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE

The BBA LLB course is divided into 5 years and further divided into 10 semesters. An academic calendar consists of 2 semesters each of 15 weeks duration which is evaluated through internal and external examinations and involves Moot Court practices, court visits and exposure to experts from the field.

VISION

The vision of this course is to prepare innovative professionals in legal education, management studies and legislative law and other disciplines who can provide intellectual, emotional and psychological leadership to design, develop and implement systems & processes and hence, research, innovate and compete at national & international level.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of this course is to open channel of admission for students who are interested in taking Administrative Law as a career. It aims to provide in-depth knowledge of various dimensions of legal education and core issues of management by enhancing conceptual and analytical abilities of the students to develop leadership qualities, team spirit, analytical and entrepreneurship abilities among the students. It also aims to develop soft skills and holistic personality of the students.

The BBA LLB graduates have a lot of employment opportunities in the field of Administration, Banking and Industrial research as a District Judge, Advocate, Assistant Advisor, Human Resource Manager with companies/law firms, Legal Probationary Officer, Finance Manager, Law Reporter, Business Development Manager, General Counsellor, Secretary in Corporate Houses, Legal Advisor and much more.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate eligible for admission to the 5-year integrated BBA LLB undergraduate degree course must be Passed in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
The candidates must have qualified CUET.

ADMISSION PROCESS

The candidates must apply through CUET for the admission to BBA LLB course offered by GIBS.
The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
The candidates who qualify CUET are only eligible for the admission in the college.

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
