Admission in B.COM(H) is made through the entrance exam conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (G.G.S.I.P.U.), known as Common Entrance Test (C.E.T. 2020)

• A candidate eligible for admission to the 3-year B.Com. (H) undergraduate degree course must have 
  50% in aggregate in 10+2 examination / Senior School Certificate Examination of C.B.S.E. as minimum marks for admission to B.Com with pass in five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent to that. (i) Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian school / college.                              OR
  Intermediate Examination of an Indian University / Board or an Examination recognized as equivalent to that (Pass in five written subjects) (ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Pass in five written subjects). (iii) Examination of a foreign University / Board which is recognized as equivalent to 10+2 CBSE examination/or Indian University.

ADMISSION PROCESS

• The candidates must apply through CUET for the admission to any of the courses offered by DIAS
• The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.

Bringing out good professionals alone is not sufficient. What is also required is the availability of opportunities to use the skills that they possess. Towards this end, the Institute has a well-established Placement Cell to facilitate and assist the students in placement. The Cell consists of the placement advisor and members drawn from the faculty as well as the students. The Placement Cell acts as an interface between prospective employers and students seeking placements. The Placement cell interacts with a number of reputed industrial houses, multinationals and other establishments for the summer training & final placements. The response received so far has been quite encouraging. The placement cell at DIAS makes outstanding efforts to train the students for facing the group discussions, interviews, resume making, student grooming and all the activities for meeting a prospective employer or for the summer internship purpose.

After the CUET, all india rank is given to all candidates. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute . The appearance in CUET is mandatory to be eligible for management quota seats.
