MERI is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU), offers MBA, BBA, BA(JMC) & BCOM(H) courses. Established since 1995, MERI  is a part of higher & technical education, and is promoted by Triveni Educational & Social Welfare Society, holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The Management Education & Research Institute (MERI), Janakpuri is not only one of the centrally located B-Schools of Delhi but is also a self financed & self established institute like its other counter part institutions.The institute has been ranked as an ‘A+’ grade institute successively for last many years by GGSIPU and Delhi govt.

At present the institute instructs the following courses:

GGSIPU MBA (1st Shift) : Duration of 2 years with an intake of 180 students.

GGSIPU MBA (2nd Shift): Duration of 2 years with an intake of 120 students.

GGSIPU BBA (1st Shift)  : Duration of 3 years with an intake of 180 students.

GGSIPU BBA (2nd Shift)  : Duration of 3 years with an intake of 120 students.

GGSIPU BA(JMC) : Duration of 3 years with an intake of 120 students.

GGSIPU BCOM(H) : Duration of 3 years with an intake of 60 students.

The two-year MBA program is partnered with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• A candidate eligible for admission must have a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

• The candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any recognized qualification with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

• The candidate must have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

ADMISSION PROCESS

• The candidates must apply through CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and then Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) by National Testing Agency (NTA) and after that IPU CET for the admission to the MBA (1st Shift).
• The candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria is then required to attend the counselling session for further screening process.
• The candidates who qualify CAT, CMAT and CET are only eligible for the admission in the college.

The college offers excellent placement services with independent placement officers dedicated to MBA and BBA placements. It’s main asset is it’s distinguished alumni which has been placed  in the top most companies both nationally and internationally. Some of the recruiters are TCS, Google, Grapecity , infosys,  BirlaSoft, Naggaro, CVENT, ICICI Securities, PepsiCo, VIP, Airtel, Vodafone, Samsung and many more.

After the registration , all india rank is given to all candidates based on CAT score. The cut off for admission is decided as per counselling process. The cut off are different for Delhi Quota and non Delhi Quota students. Usually, cut off is higher ( means lesser competition) for Delhi region candidate vis a vis Outside Delhi candidates. For management quota seats, admissions are given on criteria set up by institute .
